My America

 “My America” includes a number of images that represent my visual exploration of the United States. The photographs, 16”x 20” black and white gelatin silver prints, capture people in the South East and the North West of the US, as well as in the Puget Sound area. As a foreigner, my vision of this country and its people differ from that of a person born and raised here. The audience faced with these images would perhaps identify with the subjects of the photographs or be amused or fascinated by a familiar subjects approached and visually described in a “foreign” way.
